Our mission is to allow Mines students to continue singing even while pursuing there degree, and to grow as singers.

As a member of A Cappella @ Mines, students may attend club meetings and vote on bylaws, and for club president, vice president, and treasurer. If a student successfully auditions for an ensemble (Miner Dissonance, Harmonic Miners, and/or Melodic Miners), they may attend rehearsal, perform with that ensemble, and run / vote for ensemble specific leadership.

ACC’s mission is to build the conservative environmental movement. We envision a cleaner, more prosperous world that fosters collaboration in the pursuit of environmental conservation. The American Conservation Coalition (ACC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to mobilizing young people around environmental action through common-sense, pro-innovation, and limited-government principles. ACC was founded in 2017 by a group of young conservatives who wanted to fill the ideological gap in the environmental movement that was preventing effective, durable action.

We believe economic and environmental success go hand-in-hand and that everyone should feel empowered to take a seat at the table in discussions concerning conservation, clean energy, sportsmen’s rights, agriculture, climate, and more. ACC empowers young people who are tired of partisan inaction and equips them to build a better, more effective environmental movement for all Americans.

The purpose of Backcountry Excursion Project @ Mines is to foster a community of outdoor and backcountry enthusiasts who share a passion for exploration, adventure, and environmental stewardship and safety. We aim to promote workload-physical wellness balance, personal growth, and a deeper connection with nature and friends through organized backpacking and other Wilderness/Backcountry trips. Our club encourages camaraderie, respect for the wilderness, and responsible outdoor ethics in pursuit of the goal to ensure that all members can safely and confidently enjoy the beauty of the primitive world, regardless of their skill level, financial ability, or knowledgeability.

To introduce students and community members of Golden to the different styles of ballroom and partner dancing by providing group lessons, performance opportunities, social dances, club social events and information about dancing on the Front Range to advance the number and skill of aspiring and engaged dancers.

- Opportunity to learn Tango, Waltz, Lindy Hop, Country Swing, K-Pop, West Coast Swing, and any other dances (eg. Bachata, Balboa, and Salsa) as requested.

- Attend monthly themed balls (not necessary to be a member).

BASE Camp stands for Belonging & Allyship in the Student Experience.

For us, the foundational objectives of diversity, inclusion and equity all come together to create Belonging. For people to truly feel like they belong, they need allies; peers, leaders, faculty, and staff that all contribute to student success at Mines. Through BASE Camp, student leaders, known as BASE Leaders, will have extra training on diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. Through partnership and collaboration, we will work to develop consistent language, leadership skills, and knowledge that will elevate the collegiate experience for all Mines’ students. BASE Camp is intended to be a place to start and a place to return. It is a place for everyone to learn, grow, and lead.
