Camp Times
Camps run on your specific dates Monday-Wednesday 9am-12pm. Please try to be on time for both drop off and especially pick up. Traffic in/around Golden can get hectic, please plan accordingly.
Typical camp breakdown
Monday-Introductions, Warm up, throwing progression, throwing competitions, snack break, defensive work (infield/outfield play), recap/goodbye
Tuesday-Warm up, throwing progression, throwing competitions, snack break, swing overview, offensive stations/drills, recap/goodbye
Wednesday-Warm up, throwing progression, throwing competitions, snack break, baserunning, last 45 minutes scrimmage, recap/goodbye
Curriculum
Our goal is to work on FUNDAMENTALS and make it fun! We spend a lot of time working on very similar fundamentals with our college players. Everyone can benefit from working on fundamentals.
Campers Behavior
We will not tolerate any bullying, teasing, intimidation or otherwise unsavory behavior. This is a camp to work on baseball skills, not a babysitting service. If your camper cannot handle themselves, we will either call you to come get them or we will not invite you back for the remaining days and we will not issue a refund. Please remind your camper of this. We have not had many issues in the past but just reminding everyone why we are here.
What to Bring
- WATER! It will be hot. We will hand out a Gatorade and a granola bar each day but bring your own jug of water!
- Baseball gear (Hat, glove, bat, helmet) Campers can wear baseball pants or shorts
- (Do not go buy gear just for this camp, we have extra stuff that we are happy let your camper use while at camp)
- Sunscreen. Please apply prior to arrival. We usually have some extra bottles if you forget
- A learner's attitude! (See below)
Parking
Park in the K lot which is located behind centerfield and accessed by going west on 11th street. Send your camper in (or accompany them) by walking behind the left field fence and entering by the batting cages. We will be stationed in the 3rd base dugout. When camp ends we will send them back out along the same route. Feel free to meet them on that route or wait in your vehicle and we will send them out to you.
