Join us for Grill & Chill - a casual, fun event with free food, friendly conversation, an overview of the Mining Engineering, and an optional tour of the Edgar Experimental Mine. Whether you're exploring majors or just interested in how mining powers our world, this is a great way to connect with students and faculty in a laid-back setting.

Separate registration required for those wanting to join the Edgar mine tour.

Food Provided (Brats, burgers, hot dogs and drinks provided! )

Edgar Experimental Mine Tour

Get a firsthand look at where we've been training Mining Engineers for over 100 years with a guided tour of the historic Edgar Experimental Mine. The tour departs at 12:30pm via a charter bus from Brown Hall and returns to campus around 3:30/4:00pm.

Space is limited, and priority is given to students interested in Mining Engineering as a major or career path.
