Advancing the interests and promoting the welfare of Mines and its students.
Acting as the formal representative of the student body’s interests to the Mines faculty.
Allocating all student fees collected for student activities and publications that are not controlled by the Board of Trustees or by other groups under their authority, and to supervise and control the expenditure of such funds.
Entering into and performing contracts of any kind and description.
