Mission
The purpose of SSG is to promote interest in, and knowledge of, the science of geophysics and related fields through technical talks by industry professionals, career talks by Colorado School of Mines (CSM) alumni, and social events to strengthen the community. The purpose of SSG also includes promoting and financially supporting student attendance at conferences and maintaining industry-student relations.
