Mission
The purpose of the Mines Rockhounding Club is to allow students to learn about rockhounding, geoscience and go out into areas of interest and search for minerals/rocks that they can add to their
collection. To promote exercise while socializing and being out in the wilderness. Another
purpose of the MRC is to let students learn about geology and get hands-on experience being
out in the field learning about minerals and how they are mined/formed.

Membership Benefits
Members are allowed to participate in meetings, elections for officers and other
positions, and club activities. Members are allowed to run for club positions as well.
