Mission The Colorado School of Mines Philharmonic Orchestra Council exists to further the development of both the Mines Philharmonic Orchestra and its participating members, facilitating extracurricular events and interests, as well as a sense of community within the larger Colorado School of Mines Philharmonic Orchestra body and institution. This is achieved by providing support for administrative tasks, creating community outreach programs within Golden and surrounding areas, and aiding and assisting in the collective and individual music endeavors of current members. There are not requirements or barriers from anyone from entering the club. However, it is highly encouraged that the individual is involved with the Mines orchestra or another organization affiliated with Music @ Mines.
Membership BenefitsCouncil members may participate in any council-sponsored outing or event, as well as in any general orchestra event or outing, and may attend any general meeting.
