Mission The Mines Pickleball Club aims to provide a community for amateur and competitive pickleball players to learn the game and develop their skills. Through this club, pickleball players will be able to meet with other players during regularly scheduled open plays. MPC intends to provide opportunities to students at Mines in their competitive and recreational pickleball goals. Each player has different goals in their pickleball development. MPC aspires to provide a community of players that want to teach others the game of pickleball, promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
Membership BenefitsAll members are encouraged to come to any open play practices, training sessions, and general meetings that may be held. Additionally, members in good standing will have the opportunity to participate in votes. A member is in good standing if they have attended any club event within the current semester and haven’t had their membership revoked within that same semester. Meetings will be held before open play and training sessions. Time and date of club events will be decided at the start of each semester and subject to change throughout the semester in accordance with time constraints of club members.
