Our mission is to allow Mines students to continue singing even while pursuing there degree, and to grow as singers.

As a member of A Cappella @ Mines, students may attend club meetings and vote on bylaws, and for club president, vice president, and treasurer. If a student successfully auditions for an ensemble (Miner Dissonance, Harmonic Miners, and/or Melodic Miners), they may attend rehearsal, perform with that ensemble, and run / vote for ensemble specific leadership.

ACC’s mission is to build the conservative environmental movement. We envision a cleaner, more prosperous world that fosters collaboration in the pursuit of environmental conservation. The American Conservation Coalition (ACC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to mobilizing young people around environmental action through common-sense, pro-innovation, and limited-government principles. ACC was founded in 2017 by a group of young conservatives who wanted to fill the ideological gap in the environmental movement that was preventing effective, durable action.

We believe economic and environmental success go hand-in-hand and that everyone should feel empowered to take a seat at the table in discussions concerning conservation, clean energy, sportsmen’s rights, agriculture, climate, and more. ACC empowers young people who are tired of partisan inaction and equips them to build a better, more effective environmental movement for all Americans.

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) aims to “ignite and celebrate aerospace ingenuity and collaboration, and its importance to our way of life.” As a student branch of AIAA, AIAA at CSM aims to do the same within the Mines community and provide a network for students and staff to be linked to the broader aerospace community, develop leadership and professional skills, and be inspired by opportunities and projects in the aerospace field.

The mission of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is to advance human well-being through sustainable technology for the built environment. The Society and its members focus on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, refrigeration and sustainability within the industry.

The Mines Student Branch also aims to provide its members with unique experiences and opportunities for development through meetings, events, and the opportunity to attend the ASHRAE Winter Conference.

The mission of AESA is to become a platform for enabling the Armenian community to address
challenges affecting the quality of life for Armenians through the execution of science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics (STEM) based projects. Enable and empower the Armenian STEM
community worldwide by facilitating progress through STEM education, research, humanitarian
initiatives, collaboration, and development.
The objective of AESA is to encourage technical, and social interactions among Armenian scientists
and engineers to foster the dissemination of the knowledge of science and engineering. Activities
include communication among colleagues on local, national, and international levels, recognition
of outstanding technical achievements by Armenians, encouragement of technical collaborations
among AESA members, the undertaking of activities relating to opportunities in science and
engineering, and assisting the Armenian educational communities in the various disciplines of
science and engineering.

ACM-W is the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)'s committee on Women in Computing. It celebrates, informs and supports women in computing, and works with the ACM-W community of computer scientists, educators, employers and policy makers to improve working and learning environments for women.
The purpose of this club (the Mines chapter of ACM-W) is to provide a way for women in computing to achieve the following goals:
1. Get together with other Mines women who are interested in computing (meetings, social events, and/or computing-related activities - both on and off campus).

The purpose of Backcountry Excursion Project @ Mines is to foster a community of outdoor and backcountry enthusiasts who share a passion for exploration, adventure, and environmental stewardship and safety. We aim to promote workload-physical wellness balance, personal growth, and a deeper connection with nature and friends through organized backpacking and other Wilderness/Backcountry trips. Our club encourages camaraderie, respect for the wilderness, and responsible outdoor ethics in pursuit of the goal to ensure that all members can safely and confidently enjoy the beauty of the primitive world, regardless of their skill level, financial ability, or knowledgeability.

To introduce students and community members of Golden to the different styles of ballroom and partner dancing by providing group lessons, performance opportunities, social dances, club social events, and information about dancing on the Front Range to advance the number and skill of aspiring and engaged dancers.

The purpose of BGC is to provide a place that students can come to to play board games and relax.

1. All members are entitled and encouraged to fully participate in all general meetings and activities, if applicable.
2. All members in good standing shall be allowed to participate in votes. A member is in good standing if they have been present for a meeting held within the current semester and have not had their membership revoked within the last year.
3. Members shall be allowed reasonable use of board games and other property of the organization during meetings.
4. Members shall be allowed to provide their own board games for use during meetings. Such games remain the property of the providing member. Members assume their own risk in allowing use of their property by other members.
