Mission
The purpose of this organization includes, but is not limited to, exposure to and education of the sport of fencing at the Colorado School of Mines. ‘Fencing’ entails the épée, foil, and saber disciplines as defined, sanctioned, and regulated by the FIE governing body (Fédération Internationale d'Escrime). Mines Fencing Club has the additional purpose of encouraging and facilitating fencing competition and the refinement of fencing skills at the Colorado School of Mines.
