Mission
The Chess Club is an organization dedicated to providing a positive learning environment to enhance proficiency in Chess. The club’s overall goals are to teach members regardless of their skill level and background, ultimately encouraging one another and helping all members to improve. Moreover, exploring many aspects of the game will ideally excite and educate the Mines community about Chess. Through participation in the Chess club, our members will improve their critical thinking and focus through a centuries old game.
