Mission
The mission of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) is to advance human well-being through sustainable technology for the built environment. The Society and its members focus on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, refrigeration and sustainability within the industry.

The Mines Student Branch also aims to provide its members with unique experiences and opportunities for development through meetings, events, and the opportunity to attend the ASHRAE Winter Conference.
