Mission
Mission ACM-W is the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)'s committee on Women in Computing. It celebrates, informs and supports women in computing, and works with the ACM-W community of computer scientists, educators, employers and policy makers to improve working and learning environments for women. The purpose of this club (the Mines chapter of ACM-W) is to provide a way for women in computing to achieve the following goals: 1. Get together with other Mines women who are interested in computing (meetings, social events, and/or computing-related activities - both on and off campus). 2. Spread our interest in computing to the community through outreach activities that help show others what computer science means to us.
